Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brow Shaping Wax.

Most clients feel mild, brief discomfort while hairs are removed. Our technicians use gentle wax, apply soothing pre- and post-care treatments, and can recommend numbing options for highly sensitive skin. Communication ensures adjustments for your comfort.

Arrive with clean skin free of makeup or oils. Avoid retinoids and exfoliants for at least 48 hours prior. Let brows grow to about a quarter-inch so we can properly assess and shape your natural arch.

Most clients return every 3 to 6 weeks depending on growth rate and desired maintenance. Lighter hair and slower regrowth may allow longer intervals; regular shaping maintains a consistent arch and reduces time between appointments.

Avoid sun exposure, heavy sweating, hot showers, and makeup on the treated area for 24-48 hours. Apply a calming gel or oil-free moisturizer as recommended. If irritation occurs, contact us for guidance and an anti-inflammatory treatment if necessary.

Certain medications (like retinoids, isotretinoin, blood thinners) and pregnancy-related sensitivities can affect waxing. Disclose medications and pregnancy status during booking. We may recommend patch testing, alternative hair removal, or a delayed appointment for safety and optimal results.

Waxing can refine shape and hide minor unevenness, but it can't replace lost hair. We offer styling tips, tinting, and growth guidance to improve appearance while hair regrows. For significant gaps, consider microblading or professional filling techniques.
